Role Overview:

The Regional QHSE Manager will oversee all QHSE tasks within the Devon and Cornwall (South) region, which is a multi-site role, ensuring compliance and continual improvement of safety and quality standards.

Company Background:

Dodd Group, established in Shropshire, is a privately owned family business renowned in the building services sector for electrical and mechanical design, installation, and maintenance across various sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain Dodd Group's ISO and OHSAS management systems.
• Drive continual QHSE improvements across the company.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures.
• Conduct site and operative audits, inspections, and report findings with remedial actions.
• Advise on Safe Systems of Work, Construction Phase Plans, and Environmental Management Plans.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
• Report to QHSE Management and Directors, ensuring actions are taken.
• Support internal and external QHSE audits.
• Engage with stakeholders to meet QHSE targets and objectives.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in construction or engineering sectors with a solid understanding of QHSE principles and legislation.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
• Positive attitude towards QHSE.
• Hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel nationally.
• Proficient in IT.
