Wilde Thyme, the events division of Entier Ltd, are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to work within their culinary team.

This role will support the delivery of our high-end, bespoke catering service and will be based at our production site in Comrie and at our events across Scotland.

Our Wilde Thyme events division specialises in providing luxury catering and event management services for a variety of events. From fabulous wedding celebrations to high-profile gala dinners and working with world-class brands for corporate events.

Wilde Thyme provides an exceptional dining experience that showcases Scotland’s amazing local larder, which is at the heart of our organisation.

A flexible approach is essential, as you will be required to work evenings and weekends to ensure the success of the events you are assigned to. The working pattern will be 5 out of 7 days per week to meet business commitments.

To be considered for this role, you must be passionate about food, ingredients, and seasonality – and be able to demonstrate that you can work to the highest standards. You must be smart in appearance, enthusiastic, and have previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment. You should also demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviors and have an approachable, friendly, and helpful manner towards colleagues and customers at all times.

You must be highly motivated and organized to lead a site kitchen at an event. A good understanding of cost control and the ability to deliver on budgets is essential. You must also be able to demonstrate leadership as a chef and ensure a high level of health and safety practices are maintained by you and your team.

We offer an annual salary of up to £45,000.
