Are you looking for a new challenge within a leading contract catering company?

Key info:

Location: Warminster
Salary: £14.17 per hour
Shifts: 5/7, 40 HOURS plus paid overtime, 1 in 3 weekends, 5/6am start - 2/2:30 or 11pm - 7:30pm

Required skills include:
  1. A strong understanding of produce and ingredients
  2. Great organisational and interpersonal skills
  3. An ability to work unsupervised and consistently deliver quality work, and to monitor your own performance and that of your colleagues/team
  4. Experience of a variety of kitchen environments and cuisines
  5. A good working knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) at all levels
  6. Knowledge of food production methods
  7. Embrace new ideas and processes
  8. Positive and approachable manner
Duties will include:
  1. To take some responsibility for all elements of the kitchen including preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.
  2. To supervise catering staff.
  3. To set and maintain standards.
  4. To ensure the kitchen is kept in a clean, tidy and hygienic state.
  5. To liaise with customers, to ensure their needs are being met from sales through to delivery.
  6. To liaise with customers, to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for.
To be successful, you'll need to have:
  1. Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Chef
  2. Food Hygiene certificate and Food allergen training
  3. Knowledge of health and safety issues (COSHH etc) - further training can be given
  4. A real passion for hospitality and delivering great service
  5. Able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  6. Team player and able to work in busy environments
