Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers plc is seeking a Sous Chef for Harvester - Halbeath Park to lead a kitchen section, train a team and step in for the Head Chef when needed. You’ll play a key role in delivering great food and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced family dining environment.

You will drive targets, maintain brand standards, manage orders and stock, and ensure health and safety compliance across the kitchen. Join a team focused on progression and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering results.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage resources effectively.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
