Berry Recruitment is looking for a skilled and experienced Sous chef to assist our client's team of chefs on a full-time temporary basis in Reigate.

PAY: £15.50 PAYE £17 on umbrella (holiday rolled in)

This is a temporary full-time role until the end of August. If you get on well it will be extended until the end of September.

It will be catering for the customers and weddings/events hosted there so the menu will vary from sandwiches for the customers to a three-course wedding breakfast etc.

They are looking for someone who is experienced, professional, creative and able to adapt to different stations within the kitchen.

The shift pattern is 5/6 days a week, they will consider 4-5 days for the right person. The shifts will include weekends so please do not apply if you are unable to work weekends.

The shift pattern on a standard day will be 8am-4pm, when there is an event or wedding the times will vary. For example 1pm-9pm and 8am-8pm etc.

Requirements:

  • Culinary qualification
  • Previous experience as a Sous chef
  • Food hygiene and allergen certificates
  • Chef whites/blacks
