Sous Chef - Contract Catering (Retail Only)

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at a prestigious financial institution in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-profile, retail-only, free issue site, delivering food to the highest standards in a fast-paced and quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to lead a small and dedicated kitchen team, driving culinary excellence and consistency across all food offerings. The site caters exclusively for retail customers and offers an innovative menu with a strong focus on street food-inspired dishes. You will have creative input into menu development and be expected to maintain rigorous standards of food safety, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a contract catering environment - this is essential
  • A genuine passion for street food and current food trends
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop the team
  • Confident working in a high-volume, quality-led setting
  • Organised, professional, and able to maintain consistency under pressure
Offer
  • Salary: £40,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (no evenings or weekends!)
