Mitchells & Butlers plc is seeking a driven Sous Chef for the Merlin within Premium Country Pubs. You will lead a kitchen section, train your team, and stand in for the Head Chef when required. You’ll work with a branded menu and uphold high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience as sous chef or senior chef within a busy kitchen.
• Able to train and motivate kitchen staff.
• Strong knowledge of health and food hygiene regulations.
• Ability to manage stock and food ordering.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and ensure teamwork.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Manage brand menu execution and consistency.
