Sous Chef with experience in Italian cuisine - £40K to £42.5K per year - London, Southbank

Location: Locale Italian, County Hall, 3B Belvedere Rd, London, SE17 GP

We are seeking an accomplished Sous Chef with strong Italian cuisine experience to join an independent Italian restaurant and bar in central London. The position offers paid hourly work on an average rota of 48 hours/week, with flexibility for slightly fewer or more hours.

About Locale Italian:

Locale Italian is an established restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine in an upmarket yet casual setting, featuring an outdoor terrace, private event space, and cocktail bar. You will join a team of four chefs preparing classic Italian Pasta, Seasonal Fish and Meat, Artisan Pizzas, and Fresh Salads using authentic Italian ingredients.

Opening Times:

Monday to Sunday, 12 noon to 10 pm

Opportunity:

• Salary: £40,000 to £42,500 per year (Paid approximately £17/hour on an average 48 hours/week rota)
• Must be an experienced chef with strong Italian cuisine background
• Leadership experience in a professional kitchen with potential for role development
