A leading hospitality provider is seeking a Sous Chef to join their passionate team in London. The ideal candidate will be experienced in fine dining, have a strong restaurant background, and aspire to excel in a Michelin-standard kitchen. The role involves ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly, contributing to menu development, and maintaining the highest food quality standards. A rare opportunity to join a small passionate team using the very best produce and equipment but allowing for a better work life balance. Generally shifts run from Mon-Fri 7-4pm with some evening work required for chef tables and dinners.
Working alongside and reporting to the Head chef you will be tasked with ensuring the smooth day to day running of the kitchen and involved in the planning of the monthly changing seasonal menu. The menu is built around British seasonal produce using the best ingredients from small producers where ever possible and a real focus on reduced wastage using as much of the raw product as possible. Large roof garden means the menus are designed on what is available from the garden on a monthly basis.
The roles would suit candidates with strong restaurant backgrounds and experience in a Michelin kitchen is preferable but not essential depending on the candidate. Our Head Chef has spent the last 10 years working in some of the best restaurants across the world ensuring that staff are constantly learning and developing whilst also being allowed to bring their own ideas and dishes to the fore.
