A Sous Chef role is available to join a progressive company that has an excellent reputation. As Sous Chef, you will assist the senior chefs to organise, monitor, and train the brigade of 5 chefs. This hotel is a conference, event, and wedding venue for 200+ guests and also offers table d’hote dining in the 60 cover restaurant and lighter meals in the bar. In this role of Sous Chef, you will be expected to be ‘hands on’ in the kitchen, leading the team of chefs working under you from the front to ensure that they are working to the standards expected consistently. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef looking to work in a busy fresh food environment with plenty of opportunities to gain experience and progress within the company.
Requirements:
The Head Chef is seeking a passionate Sous Chef with a minimum of 2 years experience at this level, who is seeking a role where they can commit themselves in a fast-paced quality kitchen. Previous banqueting and restaurant experience working in high volume 4* hotels is essential along with strong organisational skills.
