An established industry player is seeking a passionate Sous Chef for a vibrant brasserie-style grill restaurant in the picturesque Lake District. A Sous Chef role is available at a multi outlet Spa Hotel located near Keswick in the stunning Lake District. In this position of Sous Chef, you will be working in the brasserie style grill restaurant assisting the senior staff to organise, monitor and train the brigade of 5 chefs. The brasserie is open from 12-9pm, has 50 covers and is very busy on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The menu consists of dishes prepared from seasonally, fresh, locally sourced ingredients including steak and seafood cooked to perfection. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef looking to work in a busy fresh food environment with plenty of opportunities to gain experience and progress.
Requirements:
The Exec Chef is seeking a passionate Sous Chef who is seeking a role where they can commit themselves in a fast paced quality kitchen. Previous experience working in high volume fresh food grill kitchens is essential along with very strong organisational skills.
