Paramount Personnel are recruiting for a talented Sous Chef, for our client, an award winning Hotel in Looe, Cornwall. The successful candidate will ideally have a proven history within a fast paced environment, be a driven individual and be looking to expand their culinary skills within a progressive company.

The successful Sous Chef responsibilities;

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes.
  • Leading, motivating managing and training the kitchen team.
  • Assisting the Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus, assisting with all aspects of kitchen management.
  • Stock control, ordering, dealing with suppliers and all aspects of kitchen health, hygiene and safety.
  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

A Sous Chef role at this establishment is like no other, an outstanding reputation across the Devon and Cornwall, with a huge focus on locally sourced ingredients. You will be working in assistance with the Head Chef, in support of training of new and existing team members, and be looking to progress your own career.
