Job Description

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and food preparation. This is a key position within our kitchen team, requiring strong leadership, creativity, and a passion for high-quality cuisine.

You’ll be involved in a wide range of catering operations, including:

Private functions and members’ events Seasonal and discretionary dining services Large-scale regatta and Club hospitality Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head Chef in running the kitchen day-to-day Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards Help plan and execute seasonal menus and event catering Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations Maintain stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation Step up in the absence of the Head Chef Requirements:

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP experience Confident in all sections of the kitchen, with great organisational skills Ability to lead by example and motivate a team Creative approach to menu development and presentation Strong awareness of health and safety and allergen management Relevant culinary qualifications (Level 2 or 3 preferred) What We Offer:
