Job summary

Heartwood Collection is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen teams across our cosy pubs and brasseries. The role requires proven leadership to run service from the line and support the head chef while delivering training to the team.

With 3-4 years in a Sous Chef position or similar, you’ll bring confidence in fresh, seasonal dishes and a good grasp of administration tasks. We offer strong progression, paid overtime, and a warm, community-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Have a proven track record in running service from the line, fresh food cuisine and delivering training and support to chefs.
• Able to work on and run any sections in the kitchen team, demonstrate leadership skills and assist the head chef.
• 3-4 years experience in a Sous Chef role or similar, preferably with exposure to branded operations and a basic understanding of administration operations

On Target Earnings £15.25 - £15.75 * Including TRONC

(up to £13.60 basic PLUS Tronc)
