Job summary

The Griffin Inn, a 16th-century country pub in East Sussex, is seeking an ambitious Sous Chef to work with Head Chef Jakub. You will lead a busy kitchen, cook with fresh seasonal ingredients and help develop the team while driving quality and hospitality.

We're looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to work alongside Head Chef Jakub. If you're passionate about fresh, seasonal cooking, enjoy leading a team, and want to develop your career in a busy, quality-led kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.

What we're looking for

• An experienced Sous Chef, or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients
• A hands-on leader who develops and motivates the team
• Strong organisational skills with a good understanding of GP, labour control and kitchen standards
• Excellent food quality, communication and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and a desire to help drive the business forward
