We’re looking for a Sous Chef to join the team at the Grantley Arms in stunning country village surroundings. We cook fresh and seasonal produce – whether that is sourced from nearby farms or seafood that is caught and landed daily. You’ll be working alongside our Head Chef, Tomas, to create fantastic plates of food, empower and develop the team and look after all aspects of Kitchen Management in our food-destination village pub. Over 50% of our Head Chef appointments are internal, and alongside development in house, there are a range of courses and opportunities that we can provide outside of the four walls of the pub to help you further your career.
This is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to be part of a team that values sustainability, creativity, and quality. At the Grantley Arms, you’ll have the chance to work in a kitchen that’s deeply connected to the local community and its food traditions.
Thanks for your interest in working with us and the wider Young's community.
