Management The Bath Priory (part of the Brownsword family of hotels) has a great location in Bath, just a short walk from the city centre, with a bus stop right outside. The hotel is stunning, a Georgian house with 33 bedrooms built in honey-coloured Bath stone and is surrounded by four acres of multi-award-winning gardens. Role Overview

As a Sous Chef, you will be working alongside the Head Chef to run a busy kitchen. You will be creating exciting and delicious dishes to be served to guests. This role would suit someone who has worked in a similar environment previously.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure your station and surrounding areas are clean and set up in the appropriate manner.
  2. Assist in carrying out ordering and stock taking procedures in a timely manner in line with company standards and in liaison with the senior chef on duty.
  3. General mis en place to produce well-presented food of high quality.
  4. Help ensure that stock is managed to a consistent level and rotated accordingly.
  5. Help manage stock effectively in order to minimize waste.
  6. Ensure temperatures are taken in accordance with food policy if required.
  7. Communicate effectively with other departments of the hotel.
  8. Meet company and statutory requirements at all times.
