Job summary

wagamama is seeking a sous chef to join the kitchen team. You will support leading shifts and the kitchen crew, ensuring dishes are prepared to the wagamama standard with energy and pride.

You will coach and nurture your team, drive training, and continuously look for small improvements in processes, costs and safety to keep quality high and costs in check.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing the line and planning shifts to ensure proper coverage.
• Understanding food safety standards and kitchen compliance.
• Ability to analyse financial performance of a kitchen including gross profit, stock and labour costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen with pride and ensure every dish is fresh and full of flavour.
• Collaborate with management to run a vibrant, high-performing kitchen.
