Job summary

Aria Care in Taunton is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to create fresh nutritious meals for residents and support the Head Chef with creative hospitality. You will use the best fresh ingredients and lead by example in a healthcare kitchen, working 40 hours per week with shifts from 8am to 6pm and alternating weekends.

This full-time role includes a structured induction, opportunities to progress through our Chef academy, and a supportive team.

• Create fresh nutritious meals for residents using the best fresh ingredients.
• Support the Head Chef, lead by example, and show creative hospitality.
• Mentor teams through our Chef academy and progress in a healthcare kitchen environment.
• Work 40 hours per week on straight shifts from 8am to 6pm with alternate weekends.

We are looking for a highly skilled Sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
