The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in leading a culinary team that provides a high-quality, nutritionally balanced, and comprehensive culinary service to the residents. The role requires relevant catering qualifications, at least 1 year of catering experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
As a Sous Chef at Avery Healthcare, you will focus on supporting the Head Chef in leading a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service to the residents. This will involve preparing modified diets that look appealing and are well-balanced, supervising and directing the work of culinary staff, and ensuring that all food preparation meets the highest hygiene standards. You will also be responsible for supporting the culinary team in understanding the Avery Food safety management system.
