Job summary

Miller & Carter - Gosforth Park is seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for great food and team development. You will run a kitchen section, lead the team in the Head Chef's absence, and help push high standards in service.

You will train staff, handle food ordering, preparation and stock control, and ensure compliance with health and hygiene rules. We offer flexible shifts, strong staff discounts, and opportunities to progress within Mitchells & Butlers.

Qualifications

• Experience in running a kitchen section and leading a team.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to deliver quality food.
• Familiarity with food ordering, stock control and menu execution.

• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
