Job description

We are currently seeking Sous Chefs who are looking for a new opportunity to showcase their culinary skills and creativity—individuals with a passion for cooking to join our team of highly experienced chefs.

You will have previous experience within a similar role, with experience cooking and preparing high-quality dishes and working with chefs at all levels. Previous pastry experience in a high-volume environment is preferred but not required.

As part of the role, you will be required to undertake menu writing, research and development, have a good understanding of allergen training and knowledge, and be able to lead a team on both match days and non-match days. You will have a good understanding of working with high food production numbers. There are some aspects of office-based work which will be required as part of the role.

This is a full-time, permanent role (35 hours/week, 5 days from 7), based at Anfield Stadium.

At Liverpool Football Club, we have an unwavering commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion and are always looking to make a positive difference in the communities we serve. We are proud of our achievements in this area, maintaining the Premier League Equality Standard Advanced Level, becoming a founding signatory of the Football Association’s Football Leadership Diversity Code, and being recognized as a leader in this important area both on and off the pitch.

We take our responsibilities seriously and are committed to increasing the diversity of our staff, creating an inclusive workplace for all. We aim to hire individuals from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skills across our organization. If you share our enthusiasm and passion for inclusivity, we want to hear from you.

Liverpool FC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all colleagues and volunteers to share this commitment.
