Role: Sous Chef

Location: Littlehampton

Salary: Up to £40,000

Platinum Recruitment has partnered with a beloved bistro on Littlehampton’s waterfront and we are looking for a Sous Chef that has fresh food experience to assist the Head Chef across a busy kitchen.

What’s involved?

As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef to select dishes which reflect the local area and help local suppliers. Responsibilities will also include:

  1. Ensuring all kitchen operations and activities are carried out in full compliance with the Head Chef’s instructions.
  2. Working in conjunction with other Chefs, providing clear and consistent direction to the wider team.
  3. Effectively managing your team in the absence of the Head Chef.
  4. A minimum of 1 years' experience working within a similar role.
  5. An extensive array of culinary skills knowledge, experience and confidence.
