Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, trading as Eurest, is hiring a part-time Sous Chef to deliver high quality food experiences across a busy kitchen. You will work a 28-hour week alongside a passionate team, with opportunities for development and work-life balance.

The role requires delivering delicious cuisine, maintaining hygiene standards and supporting the team in food ordering, stock control and budget awareness. Closing date: 30 August 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience as a professional Sous Chef or senior commis chef.
• Ability to work well within a team in a busy kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety requirements.
• Creative approach to menu and food presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Help identify opportunities to improve service and kitchen efficiency.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Eurest on a part time basis, contracted to 28 hours per week.

As a Sous Chef, you will be working alongside a truly passionate team to create an outstanding culinary experience.

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers

• Complying with Food Handling and Hygiene standards


• Complying with Health and Safety regulations
