Buckland Manor, one of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and work with the Head Chef to run a busy kitchen. You will create exciting dishes for our guests and support the team in delivering exceptional service.
We are looking for someone with experience in similar environments, strong allergen training, and the ability to mentor junior staff.
LocationOne of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is set in ten acres of stunning grounds. With 4 AA red stars, 3 AA rosettes, and a member of Relais & Châteaux, Buckland Manor offers employees the opportunity to work within a traditional, yet friendly English country house hotel.
SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team. Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay, for a full time employee. The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation in order to help the newest members of the team settle into life at the hotel and local area, plus free parking is available on-site.
