The Hope & Anchor is a vibrant pub with scenic rooms that offers quality food and drink in one of South Devon’s most cherished coastal destinations.

You’ll be working in Hope Cove – a much-loved fishing village renowned for its golden beaches and breathtaking seascapes. Taking a front-row seat that’s a mere pebble’s throw from the water, the Hope & Anchor is perfectly placed for admiring the view and exploring all the area has to offer.

Are you a versatile Assistant Head Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests. As Assistant Head Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
