Bella Italia Glasgow Sauchiehall is looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen. You’ll organise, coordinate, and deliver service across one or more sections, support the head chef, and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food quality.

What You’ll Do as a Sous Chef:

• Organise, coordinate, and deliver service acrossone or more sections in our fast-paced kitchen.
• Work closely unsupervised and with the kitchen team to producedelicious dishes to specification.
• Support and guide chefs, kitchen assistants and porters
• Ensure the kitchen is prepped and organisedfor service
• Maintain a spotless kitchen, ensuring thehighest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Complete opening and closing checklists, ensuring daily and weekly cleaning schedules are carried out to legal and brand standards
• Take responsibility for ordering stock.
• Ensure the kitchen stock deficit is at a minimum by being responsible for food stock security.
• Lead the kitchen team and take additional responsibilities in the head chef's absence.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties, as requested.
