The Beefy Boys, Exeter's fast-paced burger joint, is seeking a Sous Chef who shares our obsession with patties and perfection. You’ll support the Head Chef, step in when needed, and ensure every dish is prepared to the highest standards while keeping the kitchen safe and efficient.

Now, we’re on the hunt for a Sous Chef with a passion for patties (and maybe a few grease stains to prove it) who can support our Head Chef in serving up world-class burgers, even when the smash hits the pan. What You’ll Need:

• Step into the Head Chef’s Shoes: When the Head Chef’s off-duty, you’ll take the reins and run the kitchen like it’s your. You’ll make sure every dish is cooked to perfection, while keeping the kitchen safe, clean, and tight on health and safety standards. Whether it’s managing food safety or keeping everything in order, you’ll ensure the crew’s on point and the vibe stays high while we pump out top-quality food, no matter what.
• People Skills Like a Boss: You’ll be the leader of the pack- recruit, onboard, develop, inspire, leading from the front, and show them how it's done!
• Food Excellence: Every dish is your masterpiece. We’re not just serving burgers; we’re sending it to the world burger championships finals. Every burger needs to be perfect, if it’s not 10/10 then it’s not getting far!
• Operational Wizardry: Can you fix it if it’s broken? Can you manage food wait times and keep customers smiling? If you’ve got the magic touch for finding solutions, we’re all in!
• Stock and Supply Guru: You’re on top of every ingredient, every sauce, and every bun. You know what’s in the walk-in, and you definitely know who to call if something goes AWOL.
• People Developer Extraordinaire: Tough love is your secret weapon. You’re great at having those “real talk” moments, celebrating the rockstars, and pushing them to be the very best version of themselves.
