About the Role:

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and talented Sous Chef to join our client's vibrant team. Working closely with their brilliant Head Chef, you’ll help lead the kitchen and deliver delicious, high-quality food that keeps the guests coming back for more. From hearty breakfasts to mouth-watering lunches and seasonal dinners, you’ll be right at the heart of our culinary offering—contributing to a kitchen that prides itself on fresh, flavorful dishes and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations.
  2. Lead and motivate the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.
  3. Maintain the exceptional 5-star food hygiene rating.
  4. Ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  5. Manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
  6. Collaborate with the team to consistently deliver outstanding food and service.
  7. Train and guide junior team members in culinary techniques and kitchen procedures.
  8. Contribute to the creation of exciting new seasonal menus every two months.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Previous leadership experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant.
  2. Confident managing kitchen operations and supervising staff.
  3. Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  4. A team player with a genuine passion for food and hospitality.
  5. Creative flair and a desire to contribute ideas to menu development.
  6. Culinary qualification or certification is an advantage, but not essential.
