Olive Catering is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef for one of our prestigious sites in Ellesmere (Shropshire). The role covers food preparation to the highest standards, with duties including menu planning, production, costing, ordering and stock control.
The Sous Chef will help ensure smooth operations and provide leadership in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will be passionate about great food, possess strong culinary skills, and excel in communication and teamwork.
An opportunity has become available to join the Olive Catering Team at one of our prestigious sites in Ellesmere (Shropshire), SY12 9BL as a Sous Chef
Hours of work: Monday Friday; 7am-3.30pm
Starting Salary: £31,000 per annum
Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays increasing up to 33 days (pro-rata for part-time)

Assisting with preparation of all food and beverages ensuring that the highest standards are maintained.
To assist with menu planning, production levels, food costing, ordering and stock control, as appropriate.
Help to ensure the smooth running of the contract at all times, especially during times of sickness, holiday etc.
Be passionate about providing fantastic food and be able to work effectively within a team.
Possess excellent culinary skills, as well as being aware of current food trends to help ensure that our food offer is innovative and imaginative.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You will need to be passionate about providing excellent food and customer service and your skills in these areas must be first class. You will have the ability to drive our business forward with exacting standards and an attention to detail.
Be able to demonstrate an understanding of cost control to ensure you help achieve budgetary targets, as well as having a positive can do attitude.
