Main duties of the job

As a Sous Chef at Aria Healthcare, you will be responsible for preparing and serving fresh, high-quality meals for the residents of the care home. We are looking for a highly skilled Sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.

Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate for this Sous Chef role will have significant experience in a similar position, preferably within the healthcare or hospitality industry. They should possess strong culinary skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service. A relevant culinary qualification, such as a professional chef's diploma or NVQ, would be an advantage.
