Job summary

The Berkeley Scott Group is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for a busy gastro pub and restaurant in Notting Hill, West London. The role focuses on leading kitchen teams, managing high-volume services and delivering consistently high standards with fresh ingredients.

You will support the Head Chef, oversee food preparation and presentation, and ensure food safety and hygiene across busy lunch and dinner services. Immediate start for a 2–3 month temporary assignment through the festive season.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a busy restaurant or gastro pub.
• Strong fresh-food cooking skills and knowledge of British and European cuisine.
• Confidence leading kitchen teams during busy services.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Sous Chef – Gastro Pub & Restaurant - Notting Hill

We are looking for an experienced and confident Sous Chef to join a busy, quality-driven gastro pub and restaurant in Notting Hill.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Sous Chef who enjoys leading kitchen teams, working with fresh ingredients and delivering consistently high standards during busy services.

The Role

• Support the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen.
