Set in the breathtaking Cotswolds countryside, this luxury weddings and events venue is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join their dynamic team. Known for its stunning setting and exceptional dining experiences, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a venue that combines creativity with tradition.

Youll be wondering whats in it for you as the Sous Chef

  • £40,000 per annum
  • Working an average of 45 hours per week (more in summer, fewer in winter)
  • Being a key player in a passionate and creative kitchen team

Responsibilities as the Sous Chef

  • Supporting the Head Chef in leading a team of 3 to 4 chefs and additional freelancers in catering for up to 150 guests per event
  • Helping to create and execute bespoke menus for over 180 weddings a year, using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • Showcasing open-fire cooking techniques, from succulent lamb chops and steaks to woodfire pizzas, burgers, and tacos
  • Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation while keeping kitchen operations running smoothly
