Job summary

Burnt Orange, a neighbourhood restaurant and late-night bar in Brighton, seeks an experienced Sous Chef to join our friendly team. You will lead the kitchen, work with the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef, and deliver dishes made with local, quality ingredients.

Your passion for food, leadership, and flexibility will help you command the respect of the team and maintain the highest standards in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team to deliver dishes to the highest standard under pressure.
• Support the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operations.
• Ensure use of fresh, local ingredients and maintain quality across all dishes.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards throughout the kitchen.

We are looking for an experience Sous Chef to join our team at Burnt Orange.

As a Sous Chef you will deliver dishes made with quality food and products, from fresh, using local products, prepared with skill and passion. Your passion for food, flexibility and leadership skills will mean that you can command the respect of the team supporting the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver dishes to the highest standard
