About the Role

As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Head Chef by overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining exceptional standards of food quality and presentation. You will assist in managing kitchen staff, supporting training initiatives, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with menu development and execution, ensuring dishes meet exacting standards

  • Overseeing stock management and controlling food costs

  • Helping to lead and motivate the kitchen team in a busy environment

  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and compliance with safety legislation
