The Role:
- Contribute to food production as instructed by the Head Chef
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene from storage to service
- Ensure HACCP compliance across all outlets
- Keep kitchen equipment in good working order and report issues
- Assist in training and developing junior kitchen staff
- Manage operational, quality, and administrative aspects of the kitchen
- Oversee food provision to outlets, ensuring legal compliance
- Handle guest queries promptly and effectively
- Ensure quality and proper storage of food products
- Contribute to menu creation based on guest feedback
- Maintain consistent high-quality food production
- Manage customer relations in the absence of senior chefs
- Manage resources and staff rotations effectively
- Support brand standards through team training and assessment
- Lead the kitchen team to ensure organization and motivation
- Control costs without compromising standards
- Assist other departments and maintain good relationships
- Comply with security, fire, health, and safety regulations
- Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues responsibly
