Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Sous Chef at Toby Carvery in Shiremoor. You will lead a kitchen section, mentor a team, and support the Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control. You’ll champion a branded menu and uphold hygiene standards to deliver great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
• Comfort with managing a branded menu and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and supervise the kitchen team.
• Support Head Chef with ordering and prep.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Coach team to deliver high-quality dishes.
