A local government authority is seeking a Sourcing Systems Officer to support business systems and drive digital transformation. The role involves enhancing digital processes and ensuring user support while collaborating across departments to improve resident experience. This full-time position offers a salary of £33,552 per year with various employee benefits.
The starting salary for this role is £33,552 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.
This full-time position is offered as a fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity up to the 31st of March 2027. For internal candidates, please discuss with your current Line Manager before submitting your application.
The team works from the office at least once a week, with additional in-person days as required by our roles. We are primarily based in Woking; however, we travel across the county as needed.

The purpose of the Business Systems and Digital Team is to ensure that the digital systems used in Adult Social Care work well, are easy to use, and help staff do their jobs efficiently. We support staff with training and guidance so they can record the right information at the right time. We're always looking for ways to improve our systems and the ways that we work, to better serve our Surrey residents.

On a typical day, you will ensure the smooth operation of our systems and address any queries related to user access and system functionality. During test cycles, you will collaborate closely with the development team to execute systems testing and contribute to system improvements. You will also create and maintain user guides and internal documentation, as well as update and improve our SharePoint pages. Additionally, you will assist in delivering user training for newly introduced processes and system enhancements and actively contribute to the continual improvement of our processes.
In this role you'll focus on maintaining and advancing our Adult Social Care sourcing systems and supporting third-party applications. By doing so, you will help provide tailored solutions to meet the needs of our residents and enhance the care provided. Your efforts will ensure the best value-for-money outcomes through commissioned services.
