Join to apply for the Sourcing Strategy Senior Manager Contracted Labour & Core role at Liberty Global.

As the Sourcing Strategy Senior Manager, you will lead the creation of strategies for the assigned procurement area and drive value. You will be the go-to expert for insights on Core Network and Contracted Labour, providing market trends, supply market overviews, cost insights, and tools to optimize Total Cost of Ownership. You will develop tailored sourcing strategies for individual or multiple customers, proactively address opportunities, and establish platforms to realize these strategies.

You will collaborate closely with the Liberty Blume Procurement Services (LBPS) Sourcing Delivery team, acting as the subject matter expert during strategy implementation, and participate in developing negotiation strategies and negotiations. Supplier Management is key, requiring you to apply existing methodologies, conduct business reviews, and share knowledge on supplier sustainability and risks. Collaboration with Delivery and Sales teams is also expected.

What will you be doing?
  1. Thought Leadership: Develop a category view with a toolkit of opportunities, adaptable and updated regularly.
  2. Planning & Engagement: Develop annual category plans with customers, considering market shifts, contract stages, and initiatives; explore Total Cost of Ownership improvements.
  3. Research & Analysis: Understand internal and external factors, market trends, supplier landscape, and cost structures.
  4. Industry and Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and market dynamics through events and networks.
  5. Customer Strategy Development: Engage with customers to co-create tailored category strategies via workshops.
  6. Strategic Negotiation: Lead and support negotiation strategies, oversee execution, and mentor teams.
  7. Supplier Relationship Management: Manage key suppliers, monitor performance, and ensure sustainability.
  8. Sales Collaboration: Work with Innovation and Sales teams on initiatives involving your category or suppliers.
What we look for:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, procurement, or related field; MBA or advanced qualification preferred.
  • Experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, or procurement, ideally in an in-house procurement organization or industry.
  • Experience in an international/multi-country/matrix environment.
  • High expertise in Core Network and Contracted Labour sourcing activities.
