Our client, a leading premium Menswear Brand, has a new opening for a Sourcing Coordinator. This is a standalone position working alongside a dedicated team!
Responsibilities include:
- Managing, developing, and overseeing the supply base, focusing on supplier relationship management, quality compliance, and supply chain efficiency, including factory audits and certifications.
- Collaborating with the Technical team to ensure all products meet legal and industry standards.
- Ensuring suppliers comply with UK and global legislation on products and packaging, including reporting requirements.
- Partnering with online platforms to monitor environmental sustainability, assess factory environmental impact, and identify improvement areas.
- Monitoring working conditions, health and safety, working hours, and wages within the supply chain through digital tools.
- Conducting supplier performance reviews and developing improvement action plans.
- Implementing KPIs to measure supply chain efficiency and supplier performance.
- Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
- Reviewing social audits and maintaining a complex supply chain tracker, coordinating with buying teams on new factory setups.
- Supporting product teams with Statement of Origin certifications, ensuring renewals every 6 months.
- Researching market trends, competitor activities, NGO campaigns to inform strategic decisions.
- Building relationships with stakeholders, including certification bodies, industry groups, and NGOs, and participating in external CSR networks.
- Collaborating across teams to promote CSR initiatives and develop internal knowledge.
Person Specification:
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain within the fashion or menswear industry.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with suppliers and internal teams.
- Knowledge of compliance, manufacturing processes, and ethical standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Positive attitude, leadership qualities, and professionalism reflective of company values.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively within a team.
