The Glee Club Cardiff, located in Mermaid Quay, Cardiff Bay, features a 450-seat auditorium hosting comedy, live music, drag, and spoken word events throughout the week.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced sound & lighting professional to join our tech team. The role involves operating sound & lighting desks, using QLab, basic programming of lighting and projection equipment, and overseeing technical aspects of our shows. Confidence, calmness under pressure, and troubleshooting skills are essential.
Salary: £19,500 per year, paid monthly
Hours: approximately 25 hours per week (1300 hours per year)
Annual Leave: 28 days, with potential increases based on service

Shifts typically start between 5pm-6pm (earlier for music shows) and end around 10pm-11:30pm, lasting 4-6 hours. The role offers opportunities to attend shows when not working, with free tickets available for non-working shows. The environment is friendly, inclusive, and engaging.
