NVS Group, the UK's leading veterinary wholesaler, is seeking a Delivery Driver to service customers from our distribution depot. You will work 40 hours per week, delivering to customers on predetermined routes and representing the company professionally.

Compliance with GDP guidelines and safety standards is essential. Key duties include loading orders, vehicle inspections, and timely delivery, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and accurate, compliant service.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Delivery Driver Reports to: Depot Manager

Department: Distribution Business unit: NVS

Main purpose of the role

To carry out deliveries of our products to our customers. Representing the company in a professional and cost effective manner. Working within GDP guidelines and ensuring customer satisfaction by acting as a company ambassador.

Core role accountabilities: Principal tasks and responsibilities

1. To deliver NVS products
   • To sort your daily orders ready for loading and delivery in drop order.
   • Carry out vehicle inspections before leaving the depot to ensure your vehicle is road worthy.
   • Deliver your load in a timely manner to pre-determined customers on specific routes.
   • To deliver controlled drugs, fridge items and ambient goods within the correct temperature ranges to ensure the company remains GDP complaint.
   • Report back any any customer or delivery issues in a timely manner.
2. Health & Safety
   • Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times including wearing of any PPE supplied
   • Promote Health & Safety awareness throughout the depot environment
   • Be aware of relevant Risk Assessments and Fire Assessments.
   • To drive in a considerate and responsible manner as you are representing NVS.
