Open Road Visions is seeking a night-time driver for their SOS Bus in Essex. The role involves driving to designated locations, supporting vulnerable people, and returning the bus in the morning. Flexibility and good communication skills are required.
Summary
Do you live in Essex and hold a C1 drivers licence? We are recruiting night-time drivers for our SOS Bus. Our bus operates throughout the day supporting vulnerable people in Essex, working with partnership agencies, and at night to support the night-time economy in Colchester & Chelmsford.
Night Time – Colchester
You will drive the bus to designated locations for night-time support before parking restrictions take effect (around 5.30 pm). You will then leave the vehicle and return in the morning (around 4-5 am) to return it to the underground parking. Due to city centre restrictions, you will need to pick up the bus from ARU and drive into the centre by 10 pm for team use, then return in the morning (around 3.30-4 am) to collect the bus and return it to ARU.
