At PGS Group, we are seeking a proactive Sorter/Repairer to join our team at our pallet site in the Essex area (Grays).

As part of a vertically integrated, fast-growing group that operates from "tree to truck," you will contribute to our mission of efficiency and quality.

What tasks will you perform?

• Coordinating and sorting pallets for repair, pallets for sale in unchanged condition and pallets for destruction.
• Recovering pallets on the appropriate tables.
• Identifying, counting, arranging the sorted pallets.
• Notifying the person in charge of the work of observations and suggestions when new formats or lots are discovered.

Who are we looking for?

• Respecting internal safety regulations and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Can work independently, but is also a team player.
• Has a hands-on approach.
• Knowledge of pallet management procedures, pallet dimensions and quality control points.
• Knowledge of pallet dimensions and how to identify their quality.
• You can handle a pneumatic nailer, pry bar, saber saw and a stapler.
