Job summary

DPD UK is hiring a Sortation Operative at our Hinckley hub. You will unload, scan, sort and load parcels using state-of-the-art equipment and work to keep the hub running safely and efficiently.

You will be part of a 40-hour-per-week, permanent role with a day shift pattern after initial night learning, and you must be physically capable of handling parcels up to 25 kg. We offer comprehensive training, PPE, and genuine progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work to safety guidelines in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to shift patterns and tasks.
• Capable of lifting and moving parcels up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Unloading, scanning, sorting and loading parcels with accuracy.
• Ensure swift and secure movement of items through the hub.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Contribute to a reliable operation across various warehouse areas.
• Work to meet deadlines in a busy distribution environment.
