Sopra Banking Software Consultant

Location: Hybrid (London or Swindon; 2–3 days onsite)

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Sopra Banking Software (SBS) Consultant to lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of the SBS platform within our organization. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the software aligns with business needs and enhances operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation Support: Lead and support the end-to-end implementation of Sopra Banking Software, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Customization: Tailor SBS modules to meet specific business needs, including configuring modules and developing custom solutions.
• Optimization: Continuously enhance software performance and user experience.
• Training: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure proficient use of the software.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software-related issues, collaborating with technical support teams as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful software deployment and operation.
• Best Practices: Stay updated on best practices and new features of Sopra Banking Software, sharing knowledge with the team.
• In-depth knowledge of Sopra Banking Software modules and functionalities.
• Proven experience in implementing and customizing SBS solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable.
