A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a motivated Sonographer to join their imaging team. This role requires candidates to provide compassionate care and work independently, with a focus on continuing professional development. The position calls for qualifications in general and obstetric ultrasound. The successful candidate will assist in the efficient organization of workloads and maintain high standards of patient interaction.
You will be a highly motivated professional, with excellent communication skills, initiative and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for an enthusiastic Sonographer with a desire to learn and develop both professionally and personally to benefit our patients, our service and our team.
As a skilled Sonographer you will provide a caring, compassionate approach within our high quality imaging team. You will need to be able to work independently. Ideally candidates should be qualified in general, obstetric & gynaecological ultrasound. CPD is well supported and the post holder will participate in regular ultrasound meetings and audit.
Contracted hours of work to be agreed between 8.00am to 8.00pm, 7 days a week.
The post holder must have either The Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU) or equivalent CASE accredited PgC/PgD, registered with The Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and/or other professional body and be willing to partake in Continual Professional Development (CPD).
