About the Role:
The Medical Imaging Department at CHS operates 24/7, providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services, including state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine to patients in Canberra and Southeast NSW. The department is committed to research, training, and advancing imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
The MI4 Sonographer position requires specialist ultrasound knowledge and professional leadership, working under broad supervision of the MI5 Ultrasound Manager. The role involves independent judgement in service management and problem solving, delivering crucial ultrasound services in a major tertiary hospital.
This position may also involve shifts outside Canberra Hospital at Weston Creek Imaging Service, located at the Weston Creek Community Health Centre.
