A national healthcare service in Dunston seeks a Gynaecology Ultrasound Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound services. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and be UK registered. The role involves working with female patients and requires a compassionate approach to care, flexibility in working arrangements, and a driving license. Excellent patient safety and satisfaction are core values in this position.
You will be an effective member of the Gynaecology Ultrasound team. You will be providing the highest standard of Gynaecology Ultrasound service to patients in our expanding Non-Obstetric Ultrasound Service, working autonomously in a community setting.
Due to the nature of the role involving female patients and the location of the clinic where patients require care from same sex healthcare professionals this position is restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with a Genuine Occupational Requirement under applicable equality legislation.
You will provide a high standard of work as set by the service as regards to the quality of Ultrasound examinations and ensure that the Ultrasound examination of patients is carried out as quickly as possible, consistent with keeping to the standard required and that the patients are sent home with the least possible delay.
