A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join its obstetric ultrasound team. In this role, you will undertake ultrasound examinations, supervise staff, and counsel patients on screening for chromosomal abnormalities. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, dynamic Sonographer who is ready to join our obstetric ultrasound team and provide a high level of technical expertise across a comprehensive range of examinations.
You will be an experienced specialist diagnostic sonographer who will join the highly skilled team of sonographers, trainee sonographers, clinical fellows and midwives.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with proven experience in working within obstetric ultrasound. It is essential that you bring a flexible and adaptable approach to meet with the challenge of this role, supporting the multi‑professional team in personalising care, enhancing quality and improving the patient experience.
The Fetal Medicine unit consists of 8 scanning rooms including the Fetal Medicine/Fetal Echocardiography service.
